So both Renaults have been booted out of the Japanese GP - losing them 9 points - due to their braking system being classed as a driving aid. Racing Point protested against the system being used and the FIA have upheld their protest. That might explain why they did so well!

@Ed001: Do you think Ferrari sided with Leclerc and change their strategy to get him P1 after the Pit stop.
Ironically, that Vettel's MCU-K failure affected Leclerc Race too.

{Ed001's Note - yeah I am certain they did, Vettel was even telling them over the radio his rears were gone to try and get them to box him and they kept just fobbing him off.}

The way he drove today makes it look like he has had enough and wants out.

What I am trying to say is, you don't change motorbikes because they are dangerous, it is part of the sport. You know it is a risk when you get on one. The same thing applies with open cockpit open wheel racing. If you don't want to take the risk go into saloon cars.

Apologies it is the Spanish GP they have a new chassis for, which is now the next GP!

Seems like my hopes were too high on McLaren, though the chassis seems excellent, Honda still have not got the engine sorted. Just have to hope they have more power in reserve and are just holding it back because of reliability issues. If so, they should be able to crank it up fairly quickly as the reliability gets sorted.

And, unsurprisingly Mercedes and Ferrari have blocked it from becoming reality. What a moronic way to decide rules, by letting the competitors set them! Competitors should just abide by them, not decide what they are. It should be independently set for the good of the sport, by a body that owes no allegiance to any of the teams involved.
