Well, I enjoyed that race. Max was brilliant wasn't he? Though I'm happy for Checo. feel sad for Bottas, he was totally screwed over by his team. Especially when both drivers knew tyres weren't going to last.
Good to see Danny Ric getting into the groove as well.

{Ed001's Note - it is bizarre that Mercedes were unable to see that it was clear the tyres wouldn't last. Why not bring in Bottas and at least let him have a go at the fastest lap?}

Another impressive performance from Norris as well. At one point he was 12th but worked his way brilliantly up to 5th.

{Ed001's Note - I was surprised they left him out so long, it was looking like a mistake when they did it, but turned out to be a brilliant decision.}

Absolutely mate. Mercedes doing bizzare strategy calls. Not listening to Bottas and Lewis here. Also not listening to Lewis in Monaco regarding the setup. They really are messing it up big time.

{Ed001's Note - the lack of 2 stoppers is why the late stop worked for Lando. If the rest 2 stopped, which was clearly faster, they would have got him. They were all so cautious and it cost them. The only team that did go for the 2 was Ferrari and they left it too late to make it work, as they left him out far too long. There is a real lack of risk taking in the field these days.}

Yeh some poor merc calls today.

Great drive by Norris and Max but I do question why he wasn’t penalised on open lap for missing turn 1 and not going through the mini chicane on re entry. felt a bit like we can’t do that it will ruin the race call from the FIA.

First entertaining France GP in a long time though. Qudos.

Max wasn't penalised as he made turn 1 it was turn two he fecked.
What a race and what a drive from max!
